Michael Hudson, MBA, PHR®, CLRM - President, Chief Consultant
Michael Hudson has over 35 years of employee management experience which includes labor contract negotiations, administrative hearings, training, selection, employee discipline, discrimination investigations, testing and grievances. His experience includes Labor Relations and Human Resources positions at Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as Assistant HR Director and HR Director assignments at Santa Monica Community College District. He also serves as a Personnel Commissioner for the Los Angeles Unified School District Personnel Commission.
Mr. Hudson has given lectures on employee performance management to various audiences including employees of the County of Los Angeles and Master degree students at California State University, Northridge. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communication Arts from Pacific University in Oregon and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
Additionally, he has earned the following certifications: School Business Management Certificate from the Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California Basic and Advanced Mediation Training Certificates from the University of California, Los Angeles Extension program Clear Adult Education Credential, California Commission on Teaching Credentialing California Community College Teaching Credential Professional in Human Resources Certification® (PHR®), HR Certification Institute HR Certification Institute Certificate in HR Ethics from the HRCI Learning Center and California Labor Relations Academy Master Certification (CLRM), California Public Employers Labor Relations Association. He has also completed the California School Personnel Commissioners Association Merit System Academy.
Hudson has also taken classes at UCLA California State University, Long Beach American Jewish University University of Wisconsin, Madison Northwestern California University School of Law Coursera and Johnston College.
